Washington, D.C. - Visitors coming to the capital will find it vastly changed since Mr. Roosevelt took the oath of office eight years ago. The "Sleepy little town of the Potomac" has become a world metropolis, even though its chief business is government. The city shows what a great and rich people can do, even in times of stress and depression, in housing their governmental agencies, raising riding places for the improvement of national culture. As yet it hasn't the historical background of Paris or London, but it does have something which lifts the spirit.
