Okefenokee's still, dark waters make a natural mirror in which gloomy pines and moss hung cypresses are reflected. Danger still lurks in vast Georgia swam with its black water and islands of 'Tremblin' Earth,' where Native Americans, outlaws, and savage animals took refuge in earlier times.
