Duplex burns - Fifth Battalion Chief Florian Sobczak (white hat) directed operations Tuesday as Milwaukee firemen battled a blaze that extensively damaged a two story frame duplex at 2037-39 North 31st Street. The cause of the fire, which began in the basement and spread, was undetermined. Eunice Coad, 48, and her three children fled the first floor to safety.
