Brother Theodosius and Brother Alfredus, two Cistercian monks from Cisto, France, are shown here in their cellar at 1823 Prairie Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, preparing a rare liqueur known as Mountain Cloister Liqueur, which is to be exhibited, together with a reproduction of a cloister cellar, at the Wine, Liquor, and Beer World's Fair at the Hotel Sherman in Chicago, October 15th to 19th. The brew is made by a secret formula discovered by members of the order in 1620.
