Al and Magda's braustube at 1101 W. Juneau av., is the business address of a German shepherd named Rex. Don't be fooled by his breed. Rex is a good Austrian, as are his owners. Mr. and Mrs. Al Baur. He likes goulash and either music and mingling with the old timers who sometimes drink to the late Emperor Franz Joseph. Rex has Wednesday night off. He attends night school, where he is seeking a diploma.
