Montreal, Canada - Nearly 600,000 persons participated in the impressive ceremonies that marked the annual observance of St. Jean Baptiste Day throughout French Canada, with monster parades in principal cities. Attended by church dignitaries, Archbishop Jean Duguay arrives at the Church of St. Jean of the Cross where a special morning mass was celebrated.
