Along the Atlantic seaboard are many defense units that must maintain a constant watch. Soldiers cannot leave their guns, so the Army, in cooperation with the USO, believing the proven adage about all work and no play brings the soldiers their recreation right at camp. Here, a group of soldiers with their guests, imported on Army trucks, toast hot dogs over a fireplace constructed by the men in their spare time. Army cook lifts his hands at their lack of the professional touch.
