Quitach, Jr., of Melrose Park, Illinois, an instructor with the 180th Regiment, 45th Infantry Division in Korea, adjusts a fuse on a napalm mine prior to detonation during a training period for the troops of his unit. Private Quitach, whose parents live at 1537 N. 17th Ave., Melrose Park, is a member of the Eighth Army demonstration team that trains troops in the use of napalm mines so they will become extremely familiar with them. Such mines are considered one of the most effective barriers against enemy attacks.
