Samuel C Lamport New York Cotton Exporter delivers to J George Fredman former National Commander of the JEwish War Veterans a bill of sale for 210 pianos which the Veterans will donate to the United States Army. Lamport heard of the Jewish Veterans plan to furnish 210 pianos to Army Recreation Centers and Service Clubs throughout the nation and personally donated the instruments for them. They were accepted by the War Department and will be distributed by Captain James J Robertson of the Quartermaster Corps.
