Preparing Belmont Race Track For Mutuel Betting. The grandstand and cages are being constructed and mutuel betting is expected to be okayed by the time the track opens on May 13th. Pipes for wires that will control the tote board at the track are shown piled alongside the trenching which they will be buried.
