President Johnson greets Prime Minister Mohamed Ibrahim Egal of the Somali Republic, today at the White House. The 39-year-old Somali leader was welcomed at the Executive Mansion as he arrived in Washington for two days of conferences. Johnson hailed the visitor as the man who "Succeeded in building one of the most effective democratic governments" in Africa.
