You don't have to see the expressions on the faces of these youngsters to be aware of their anticipation of a great adventure-- climbing the crumbling battlements of Fort Pike. Built in 1818 as part of a chain of defense around New Orleans, Fort Pike has been a haven for generations of Cub Scouts, picnickers, sightseers and other seeking an outing in the city.
