City workmen spread sand over grease that was accidentally spilled on Gentilly boulevard Friday by an Alabama truck that was carrying 30,000 pounds of fats to a feed mill at Avondale. Gentilly boulevard was open to normal traffic again Friday afternoon after 55 blocks of Television street had been blockaded earlier in the day.
