Discussing the awards they received Saturday night from The Fellows of American Bar Association at the ABF banquet at the Roosevelt Hotel are (from left) James D. Carpenter, E. Blythe Stason and Robert A. Sprecher. Carpenter received the award for "more than 50 years of outstanding service to the legal profession and the public; Stason was awarded for "outstanding research by an individual in law and government" and Sprecher was named winner of the ABF's annual "Samuel Pool Weaver Constitutional Law Essay."
