A family gathering Sunday at the residence marked 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Hooper, 3147 Urquhart. Hooper, retired tool manufacture, it Is 75; Mrs. Hooper is 69. Natives of Louisiana, they have resided in New Orleans for the past 40 years. The couple has five sons, four daughters and 18 grandchildren.
