Chateau Le Moyne Hotel's Charlie's Corner was the scene. The happening: a month's stint by a trio from Los Angeles, name of Briley and Branch with Jeff Gilkerson. Pat Briley (rhythm guitar) and Judy Branch (tambourine and unbelievable kazoo) had been a duo for a year. With addition of Jeff came not only another voice, but also a bass, alead guitar, harmonica, a five-string banjo and a cello. You might say he beefed up their instrumentation just a tad!
