The SS Sabre Purpose is docked at the Market Street Wharf to take on cargo on its maiden voyage. The British ship also picked up cargo at Houston, Texas, and Tampa, Florida, before coming here. It will call on other Texas ports and then make its first voyage to Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong. It is 9730 deadweight tons. It is handled by LeBlanc-Pharr Incorporated agents for the Sabre Line.
