Specialist 4 Richard G. Fitzpatrick, 22, of Bisbee, Arizona, a combat correspondent for a U.S. Army division newspaper in Vietnam, says he is forbidden to write stories about American snipers, napalm strikes, tear gas or allied casualties. Fitzpatrick hold a copy of the 25th Infantry Division newspaper, "Tropic Lightning News," for which he writes. The young journalist says soldiers have stopped reading Army paper because they have learned they do not tell the truth.
