Ellsberg said the U.S.Supreme Court, by not hearing an appeal of the Pentagon Papers trial, was backing the Administrations's denial of the people's right-to-know. Ellsberg and co-defendant Anthony Russo are charged with espionage, conspiracy and misuse of government property in the publication of the once-secret study of the origins of the Vietnam War.
