Surveying meat supplies, which appear to be .....in local supermarkets, are some shoppers. New Orleans supermarks are expecting acute shortages of beef beginning this week and the shortage is expected to continue at least until September 13 when President Nixon's Phase IV controls on beef prices are due to be lifted. The supermarkets blame the President's controls for causing the shortage of beef.
