Reg Murphy, editor and publisher of the San Francisco Examiner tells news people in San Francisco Wednesday that a published report that Patty Hearst's defense was prepared before her arrest was "patently untrue." He said the lawyers interviewed Patty on Saturday for the first time, when they took down her story and that Miss Hearst had signed the final copy on Monday night.
