Pitcher Joe Gibbon of the Pittsburgh Pirates flashes a big smile in the dressing room tonight after shutting out the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-0 on a sizzling one-hitter. Gibbon's victory in the second game of a tw-night doubleheader eliminated the Dodgers from the National League pennant race and assured Cincinnati of the flag. The Dodgers won the first game 5-3.
