Tires, garbage, refrigerators, stoves-everything but the kitchen sink, literally-can be found in huge piles along South Avenue. Literally, as hard as a photographer tried, he could not find a kitchen sink. He did find dozens of chairs, couches, and kitchen appliances. And, of course, hundreds (perhaps thousands) of tires.
